A Grade 6 sawn sided
A Grade (6 Sawn Sided) blocks are ideal for seating around fire pits or in yarning circles at schools as they have a smoother finish on them. Conversely, they are great for projects that will see all sides of the blocks.

A Grade 5 sawn sided
A Grade (5 Sawn Sided) Sandstone Blocks are cut using an excavator however, with a large wheel saw, and they are slightly more precise in their measurements compared to the B Grade (2-4 sawn sided) and (4-5) sawn sided sandstone blocks. On the other hand these blocks will have one rough back.

B Grade Premium 4-5 sawn sided
B Grade Premium (4-5 sawn sided) blocks are an excellent substitute for A Grade 5 and 6 sawn sided blocks but these blocks have 4-5 sawn sides. The 5th face can be sawn, partially sawn or not sawn at all.

B Grade 2-4 sawn sided
Initially, B Grade (2-4 Sawn Sided) blocks are the initial cut blocks in the quarry, they are the reject out of the cut blocks. They may have the most irregular shapes and measurements and can be angled and concave blocks. B Grade (2-4 sawn sided) blocks should have 2 opposite sides suitable for stacking and can still be used for retaining walls.

Quad Sawn Blocks
Sandstone Logs B Grade comes in two lengths – Quarry Sawn
500 x 500 x 1000mm (Quarry Blocks)
500 x 500 x 2000mm (Quarry Blocks)
These blocks are quad sawn. Sawn top, bottom and both ends with two rough faces.

Tolerances of B Grade
B Grade Blocks have 2 to 4 sawn sides.
They are also sawn top and bottom but may not have sawn ends.
• There is a 100mm tolerance either side of the face height.
• The Length of the blocks can measure between 500 – 1500mm.
B Grade Select Blocks (B Premium) have 4 to 5 sawn sides.
This means each of the Blocks also, faces will vary in appearance.
One Block may have a natural (unsawn) face and the next may have a partially awn face.
Each block has sawn ends and is sawn top and bottom.
• There is a 50mm tolerance either side of the face height.
• Length of the blocks can measure between 800 – 1200mm.
